Dr. Mohammad Sobur Khan is a renowned name in Bangladesh’s education, technology, and entrepreneurship sectors. He is the founder and chairman of the Daffodil Family, under which over 40 institutions have been established in the fields of education, information technology, training, research, and social service. His dream is to build a knowledge-based economy by integrating education and technology, where the younger generation will move forward with innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset.

In the 1990s, he established Daffodil Computers Ltd., marking his entry as a pioneer in Bangladesh’s IT sector. Later, under his leadership, Daffodil International University (DIU) was founded, which is now recognized as one of the top private universities in Bangladesh. At DIU, he developed an educational system that nurtures academic knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, and ethical leadership together.

Currently, Dr. Sobur Khan serves as the Chairman of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh, where he plays a pivotal role in connecting young entrepreneurs with international networks, providing guidance, and offering funding support. Under his leadership, the Daffodil Family has become a symbol of sustainable development and employment creation in education, technology, agriculture, health, and entrepreneurship.

He has received numerous awards and recognitions from both domestic and international organizations, including the Asia’s Most Inspiring Leader, ICT Pioneer Award, and Education Leadership Award.
