Omar Al Jabir is an experienced technology entrepreneur and engineer with over 25 years in the IT industry. He holds an M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Oxford University and an M.A. in Islamic Studies. Professionally, he has held key roles as an Engineering Manager at Meta (Facebook) and as Head of Engineering at BT and Tesco.

He has successfully founded and exited three tech startups and currently serves as Co-Founder and CTO of Kahf.com.tr.

Omar is the author of “Building a Web 2.0 Portal with ASP.NET” and co-author of the “Poru” series. He has been recognized 11 times as a Microsoft MVP and 4 times as a CodeProject MVP.
